FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
It's my job to capture the moments you've been planning for months, even years, down to all the little things you forget you even had! On your wedding day I want to capture all the feels; the teary eyes, the deep breath before that first glimpse, those few seconds of tunnel vision as you eventually meet at the end of the aisle, the laughs as you're both totally smothered in confetti, and so many more details that make your wedding unique. Your wedding shouldn't be spent having endless lists of photographs, and not spending time with the loved ones you've invited to share your day. It's all about taking your time, remembering why you're getting married to begin with, taking it all in, giving yourself a chance to relax and enjoy everyone's company; the more you do that, the more I can capture your day the way you want to remember it.
When will we get to see our gallery?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos in 4-8 weeks. You will be able to download + share all your images in your gallery, make a favourites list, order prints and more!
Whereabouts do you shoot?
I'm based in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, and travel across Wales & West England. Getting wed locally? There are no costs for travel until we get 40+ miles from CF47; sometimes I'll grab a room at a B&B the night before, so I can avoid the traffic and be there bright and early; all that's covered in a one-off extra.
How many pictures will we receive?
It's always hard to put a number on your images, every wedding is so different that no gallery is the same! Most full day weddings average between 400-600 fully edited images, and I always choose quality over quantity.
Do we need an album?
Lots of people ask this, and the answer is simply that it's totally up to you! There's something lovely about owning a professionally made wedding album, yours forever, to pass down through generations and bring to family gatherings. Equally important is making sure you print lots of your images. Think back to family gatherings and going through boxes of old family photos, then think about swiping through a phone or ipad; the two just don't compare! Passing around real prints and albums for everyone to take a good look and reminisce at, is always the best way to remember the best times you've had together; having them online and on an USB, is just another way to back them up!
